Hi there,

We are in the middle of a busy spell so I'll give you a quick line of
each of the horses.

OSCAR JACK - he won at Taunton yesterday under a super confident Sam
Thomas ride. The race worked out nicely as they went quite hard
early & Oscar was able to move into contention turning for home.
Despite a mistake at the last he won by 6 lengths. Sam said he was
looking about at the last so that caused the error but bar that his
jumping was very assured.

This win was due reward for his loyal owners who have showed loads of
patience due to Oscar suffering some knocks in his time. Since the
1st April 2006 he had just 5 runs ( placed 4 times ) up until
yesterday. This win was overdue but we hope there are more around
the corner. Oscar holds an entry at Warwick on Thursday so we may
see him again soon .... but we shall see what the handicapper does
first.

At the start of the season we had 9 horses in training. With Oscar
getting his head in front I'm pleased to record that we have
completed the full house of winners. Each horse starting the season
in Let's Live Racing colours has now won a race for it's syndicate.
It's a terrific record so my thanks go to all the trainers, jockeys
and stable staff who have made this possible with their hard work.

LATIN SCHOLAR - our new juvenile hurdling recruit ran really well on
debut in a pretty hot novice yesterday. He finished 5th but we were
happy with that as Latin hated the soft & sticky ground. Choc said
he got impeeded over the first couple but when finding some room he
jumped well. Both Alan & Choc think Latin will improve with
experience as he is still growing & a bit immature. Latin will win
races for sure once he gets his ground. Expect to see him in
approximately 3 weeks.

KANDJAR DALLIER - our game grey runs tomorrow in the highly
prestigious Peter Marsh Chase at Haydock. Kandjar loves the track,
gets the trip well, has good form on heavy ground, loves running
fresh & has bottom weight. It's a competitive race as you would
expect for the money on offer but he has a massive chance
particularly as he looks to be the only front runner in the 11 strong
field. If he can get into a rhytym & jump well I'd be very hopeful
of seeing him involved in the finish.

CHARMAINE WOOD - she is in good form & runs on Sunday at Towcester
providing we do not get a deluge of rain. I've not had chance to
weigh up the race but we know she goes well around the track and is
progressive. If it came up very soft, and heavy rain is forecast,
we may have to look for another option.

VALLEYOFTHEDOLLS - she delighted Alan in a schooling session on
Monday. Valley will now get an entry for a 2m Mares novice at
Uttoxeter on Saturday 24th. She doesn't want soft or heavy ground
so we shall keep an eye on the weather.

THEATRE DIVA - she will get an entry for a 2m5f 0-125 Mares handicap
at Newbury on Friday 23rd January. Venetia reports he to be in
good form. Diva didn't stay the 3m last time so this drop back in
trip will help.

DANSIMAR - better news on her as she's back in work & seems to be
over whatever was troubling her last time. Dansimar will get 2
entries at Doncaster on 24th January & we may have an interesting
choice to make. The races are a 0-135 2m3f handicap and, secondly,
a valauble 2m Listed Mares race.

The handicap would look the most obvious race for a 127 rated mare
but with the majority of the highly rated mares known as staying
types this particular Listed event might just turn out to be weaker
than the norm. Only the entry list will prove whether that's total
rubbish or not ........ but it's worth paying the entry fee to find
out. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

ASTURIENNE - she did her first bit of real work after her Huntingdon
win on Wednesday morning. Alan was thrilled with her as he says she
has improved both physically and mentally for the experience. She
will go to either Chepstow on 31/01 or Huntingdon 05/02. Asturienne
is exciting for bumpers this season.

DARYAL - good news about Daryal as Gary Moore expects him back
towards the middle of February. More on him at the end of the
month but I can report he's in really good form.

Hope this note helps everyone follow the Let's Live Racing string
over the next week. Be in touch soon.

Regards
Mark
