Dear NRC Member/Supporter

The deadline for the Aintree (Thursday) group booking is fast
appraoching - please contact me by the end of the month if you wish
to join in the booking - pre payments for tickets will be required so
please dont leave things until the last minute (unless you can use
Paypal for your booking!)

I am also planning a social evening on Saturday May 17th at the
Bickerton Poacher pub Nr Malpas. This is within easy reach of Bangor
on Dee racecourse where there is racing in the afternoon and where
hopefully we shall be sponsoring a race again. For those who havent
been before the pub has a private room which holds up to 50 people
and also has its own skittle alley. The idea is to have a general
social evening including presentations to the club competition
winners (Saturday Naps/Alex Bird). The pub does a good carvery style
meal and inclusive of the room hire and some prizes for the evenings
events I think the cost (inc a two course meal) will be in the order
of £15pp) Besides the 'fun' skittles challenge I'm open to
suggestions for other entertainment on the night - all ideas welcome!
As the evening will be informal it will be open to non members and
all age groups (good children's park outside).

At this stage Id like to guage interest in the event thus without
commitment at this stage please e mail philip.evans@... if
you are considering attending plus an indication of the likely
numbers in your party. I would mention at this time that the FA Cup
Final is also on this day, in case that makes a difference.

If the turnout is good I may also invite one or two of the local
trainers to join us.
