Past race trends can often help race-goers in finding winners -
today's statistics cover the period
2000-2006 with five races featured where the race has been run in
present form for at least three years. The figure in brackets after
the race details is the favourite's strike rate in the race and
the `lucky draw' details are the stall(s) providing the most winners
in the race.

(2.45) 6Furl Maiden Auct Stks for 2yo (41%): Race restricted to
maidens this year. Past winners all well backed at odds of 7/2 or
shorter with a last run placing of 3rd or better seen (last racing
within 29 days). Lucky draw - stall 4 (3 wins), stall 3 (2 wins).

(3.15) 6 Furl H`cap for 3yo+ (5%) : All winners aged between 4-6yrs
with 5yo having a slightly better record. Whilst most winners odds
were 10/1+ not all were totally out of form with at least one 3rd
place (or better) in last three starts. Jockeys claiming a 3lbs
allowance have ridden three of last four winners. Lucky draw - stall
1 (2 wins).

(4.15) 7 Furl H`cap for 3yo fillies (33%): All winners were
reasonably well supported at SP's of 10/1 or shorter. Most carried
weight between 8st 13lbs and 9st 11lbs. A last race within 9-22 days
also a common trend. Lucky draw - no qualifiers with more than one
win.

(4.45) 1Mile H'cap for 4yo+ (12%): Whilst only run four times all
winners to date were aged between 4-6yrs. A last run seen between 8-
37 days earlier with only one of the four winners managing to finish
better than 6th on latest run. Lucky draw - stall 6 (2 wins).

(5.15) 1M 6F H'cap for 4yo+ (30%): Although the draw rarely affects
longer distance races to the same degree as sprints there is an
interesting trend here in that four of the five past winners came
from the highest numbered stall in the race and the other winner from
the 3rd highest draw. All past winners were well backed at odds of
6/1 or shorter. Oldest winner aged 7yrs. All winners rested at least
18 days since previous race. Lucky draw - no qualifiers with more
than one win.
