We are aware that members enjoy racing breaks at this time of year
and NRC will be arranging its own trips (subject to sufficient
demand) to Hexham/Kelso (Sept 29-Oct 1st) and Newcastle/Musselburgh
(Nov 24-26). If interested please contact Phil Evans for details on

However before that we have been offered a great offer for members
to consider. Nigel Perkis (previously manager at the White Swan at
Alnwick) now manages the Oaklands Country House Hotel at Laceby, Nr
Grimsby and is organising a racing weekend break at nearby Market
Rasen next weekend (22-24th Sept). The package includes full board
for 2 nights (plus guest tipster Friday night), stable/stud visit,
transport to racecourse, members badge, table in restaurant with
lunch and afternoon tea. The package usually costs £239pp but Nigel

Admission prices for both racedays are £14 per day if purchased on

2006 MEMBERSHIP DRIVE

The club is offering members an incentive to enrol friends and
colleagues to the racing club this year with the most successful
recruiter having a race named in their honour in 2007 with all other
members introducing at least 5 new members (three of which are full
members and two can be additional members added at a full members
address) receiving a free year's membership in 2007.

New members can now join for 6 months from 1st Sept 2006 to 1st
March 2007 for £10 plus £4pp for additional members at the same
address.
