Glad to be here. what are everyone's thought on the signings so far. i know his son his still in Holland and i know we are working on a limited budget (can anyone explain why Milne won't dip into his very deep pockets) but do we have to look at the dross. Time will tell.

Hey guys!
You never know who you're going to meet at a Toronto FC game.
Please welcome Stewart Camaron from Newmanket!

BTW - Johnny, let's get your buddies in New York on here eh?
It's the August 25th game against DC united we are attending, it's a 7.30pm KO, I will be arriving at the island airport sometime early afternoon and drinks can be arranged after I have checked in

Hey guys!
It's been too long since we have been in touch.
Met a fellow Dandy at the Toronto FC game yesterday. I'll be adding him to the list shortly!
So I suppose the best thing on Summer signings is telling the one dutchman to GET TAE FIK! Otherwise I like the look of things. Hopefully the keeper situation will shore up soon. My gut tells me that Langfield will win his spot back. Soutar just isn't ready and unless Young Shmichael is coming I can't see a better option on our budget.

Fit like a'body? Big news in New York is that our merry band is growing.
Met another few Dons fans over the past couple of months that live in New
York. I think we're in double figures now and we outnumbered the huns the
last day of the season in the Blue Bar - useless feckers only had 5 there.
Can't say I'm suprised Anderson left but we spent 6 months touting him then
another couple saying we would probably have to sell him for a million and
in the end sold him cheap because we're desperate for the money. It will
be a big loss but not a huge blow as I think we still have a decent squad.
I'm sure we'll drop a few points here and there that we might not have with
Anderson around. Fingers crossed that Diamond plays like he did the last
few games and keep his heid about him....although I will be surprised if he
manages.
Roll on the start of the season and Europe.
Cheers,
Jonny

The wean doesn't play Drew, he's more the geek than the fitba player, however, he did go to see The Famous Aberdeen at home last season and brought me back yet another scarf to add to me collection.
Jnr is the fitba player but he is presently residing in the National Capital Region

Drew - your right about the next few fixtures. A couple of wins and the Huns dropping points against the Tims and we're right back in it. Good to see Jamie Smith coming back into the fold at the right time.

In a nutshell, 3 points from this game and we are on to play Motherwell midweek. The Dons could find themselves1 point back of the Huns (provided the Tims do their part) as we make the trip into Mordor.
Wouldn't it be freakishly nice to be writing about a CL spot 10 days?

Frustrated Hearts fans have launched a scathing attack on majority shareholder Vladimir Romanov - accusing him of turning the Edinburgh club into a "circus freak show".
The Heart of Midlothian Supporters' Trust posted an open letter to the Lithuanian businessman on their website, criticising his leadership over the last two seasons.
Romanov has rarely been out of the news since his arrival at the club two years ago.
The 58-year-old banker was recently embroiled in more controversy when former captain Steven Pressley, flanked by Paul Hartley and Craig Gordon, revealed there was "significant unrest" in the Tynecastle dressing room.
The players were called to disciplinary meetings individually, which in Pressley's case resulted in the Scotland defender being released from his contract.
The sanctions imposed on Hartley and Gordon remain undisclosed, although Scotland midfielder Hartley was left on the bench for the Bank of Scotland Premier League defeat by Aberdeen at Tynecastle at the weekend.
The Trust claimed that Romanov's good work at the club, such as guiding Hearts to their Tennent's Scottish Cup final victory over Gretna last season as well as securing Champions League qualification for the first
time, has been undone by his recent actions.
The letter said: "We have gone from being the best thing in Scottish football for decades to being a laughing stock.
"People talk about us but rarely about the football.
"What we see now is constant interference, the public humiliation of some of our greatest players and a businessman who seems to see our club as a vanity project.
"And it is our club. We are the people who are now being mocked at work because of your antics.
"We are the people who believe our club has lost its self respect.
"And that is a real crime.
"We may not have won many trophies over the years, but we have been respected.
"We are an important sporting institution and you have turned us into a circus freak show.
"As a result, we have lost our respect for you."
The Trust also criticised Romanov for the way he acted towards Pressley.
"The way you treated Steven Pressley was, for many of us, the last straw," the letter stated.
"We know him well enough to know that if he thought it was in the best interests of the club to criticise, then there must have been real problems.
"You may have brought money to the club but Elvis (Pressley) has shown not only great class as a footballer but real integrity.
"Your response to being challenged seems to have been the response of the playground bully.
"It now seems that you and the board do not care about results on the pitch.
"The farce we have just endured of having a central defender play in midfield against Aberdeen with Paul Hartley on the bench, demonstrates that you do not even respect the fans any more.
"Surely the first most important task is to put the
best team on the park.
"To do anything other demeans you, the club, the players, the opposition, the competition and the supporters."

Aberdeen have won the race to sign veteran striker Craig Brewster.
The 40-year-old was also targeted by Kilmarnock and St Mirren after being sacked as
player-manager at Dundee United.
His decision to join the Dons will reunite him with former Dunfermline boss Jimmy Calderwood and he is expected to put pen to paper on a six-month deal on Thursday.
"I'll be in on Thursday to do the deal and I'm delighted to be joining Aberdeen," Brewster told the Scottish Daily Express.
"It was obviously hard to tell Jim (Jefferies, Kilmarnock manager) and Gus (MacPherson, St Mirren manager) that I would not be joining either of their clubs but they accepted the decision and I thank them for that.
"At the end of the day, I decided to go for Aberdeen because of my past experiences with the management team."
