What time and day works well for everyone to have a street roda? It would be cool if we could have a set date and time and once a week meet up for a roda (Regional with some Angola) in the French Quarter, across from Jackson Square on Decatur Street in the French Quarter (just below the stairs).  I was thinking Fridays around 4 or 5pm.

Let me know what days and times work well for you. We can spread the word to Curtis’s students and invite them to come as well.

Samurai and I have 2 berimbaus, 2 pandeiros, an agogo, and a reco-reco. Does anyone have a drum?  We have 2 small African drums, but they are not very loud and are hard to play while standing up.  If you have instruments, plan on bringing them.
