Oi Capoeiristas:

Urso/Mike has invited us to have a brief demonstration at the UNO International Student Organization Fall Social.  We will have a roda with instruments and possibly a roda de samba.   You are invited to stay for the remainder of the event after the demonstration.  Music, snacks, entertainment, and an impromptu date auction are also scheduled to take place.  The event takes place from 8pm-midnight.

Meet us at the Newman Center at 8:00pm across the street from University Center.  Wear your whites (white pants and white shirt).  If you need a ride, call me at 770-356-0105 and we’ll pick you up.  I have commitments from Eric, Prof. Carlao, Samurai, Rosa, and Prof. Cocada.  We’d love to have you come too.    

If you have any Brazilian music, Brazilian flags, Brazilian snack foods, or anything else representative of Brazilian culture, please feel free to bring it to the event.
