Hi. You wanted white abadas, right? What size do you wear? A Medium or Large? I“m going to bring back a few pairs (various sizes) for all of us (Samurai and some other capoeiristas) and you can try them on to see which fit is best for you. They are about 35 reals each (18 USD). I haven“t bought them yet but the prices seem to be about the same at every shop. Pandeiros are running about 50 reals (25 USD) for a nice one that sounds good. I have a few pictures but they are not digital. I lost may battery charger here so I had to buy disposables. I do have about 10 hours of video footage though that I can burn onto a DVD for you when I get back to New Orleans or you can come over and hang out and we can watch the capoeira clips together.
See you soon.

Hey! I hope you're having a good time for us. I actually would like maybe a pair or two of abadas and perhaps a pandero. Nothing fancy on the pandero, just a nice sounding one, no painting or anything. Please let me know what they are running for and I will let you know how much I have to spend and stuff.thanks so much. any pictures???ChamelećoOn Jan 15, 2006, at 6:10 PM, alison mccrary wrote:
This is Risada. I“m currently in Rio and will be in Brazil for 2 1/2 more weeks. If you need any abadas or other capoeira stuff, drop me an e-mail and I can let you know what the prices are around here. If you decide that the price is okay, I can buy them for you and you can pay me back when I get back to the states. I will be in Atlanta from Jan. 28- Feb 4 (for any of you living in Atlanta) and will be in New Orleans thereafter. You can e-mail me directly at alimc02@... .
