It is like Moon said, take 287 South to 22 East (Left Exit). When you
get onto 22 East you will go over a set of railroad tracks. After you
go over the tracks you will see an overpass out in front of you. You
will exit just past the overpass, then take the first right to go over
the overpass. Once over the bridge you will merge onto Chimney Rock
Road, go left on Chimney Rock. At the top of the hill you will see
some ballfields on your right hand side. Or you can go to the top of
Chimney Rock, to the light, make a left onto Washington Valley Road.
After the left you will go about 1/2 mile. On your left you will go
past a church. Make your first Left after Church, Newmans Lane.
Parking is @ 1/2 mile on Left. Trails from there are across the
street and along the lake.

thanks for the directions guys. that will be a weekend day trip for me. i'm right off of 287 north so the directions were great. either of you guys venture...

... If you're up there you're probably closer to Wawayanda and Ringwood. Those are much bigger places but you can often hook up with people that know their way...

At either Ringwood or Waywayanda I would recommend meeting some before riding there or hooking up with people in the parking lot. They are both pretty big...

If you want someplace to ride more or less on you own. Take a look at The Tourne, it a smaller park down in Boonton. Always some people around so if you get in...
