Shoe pod on/off   Message List

Just got my new Elite HRM/SDM today and have not even taken it out
for a run yet. Just been playing w/ the software & watch. I put the
battery in the shoe pod and the red light begins to blink like it
should. However, when i press down on where it is supposed to turn
on/off the pod nothing happens. The light continues to blink. Has
anyone experienced problems like this? When I press down I don't
feel any resistence or something like that - should I?

I have to hold the button down a second to turn it on and off, also I believe it will turn off automatically if left at rest. Their no click or movement or...
