Re: [niketiming] Corrupted data? Change Battery?

Hi Amy-
I've changed the battery in my watch and did not lose the odometer totals.
Afraid I can't help you with the other stuff. Changing the battery is a good
thought though.
Good Luck,
Brien

[niketiming] Corrupted data? Change Battery?

I don't know if anyone reads this site anymore, there hasn't been much
activity in the past, but three times in the last 6 months my run data
has become corrupted when I try to sync to my PC. 2 of those times
have been in the last week, and I sync up something almost daily. I'm
not sure what causes it. Before I sync I check the data in the stats
and that run is all there. When I sync it up it acts like it is
working normally and then it will show an error saying that the run
data has become corrupted and that it will ignore the data. However,
it doesn't ignore it, it completely wipes it out and then I have
nothing to sync. It's pretty frustrating. Nike was really no help and
said that it was most likely a fluke. Has anyone else experienced any
similar problems or found a solution? I'm contimplating taking the
battery out of the watch and replacing it but I'm not sure if that
will wipe my total odometer from the stats. Does anyone have any info
on that. I'd really like to keep that number in there instead of going
back to zero, it's a bit of a motivator. Any help or comments would be
greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Amy
