Hello James,

Thank you for contacting Nike regarding our Nike + iPod Sport Kit.

The Nike + iPod Sport Kit consists of a shoe sensor and a receiver that is plugged in to your iPod nano.  This sensor will only work with footwear styles that are Nike+ ready and there is no option to use this with older model or non-Nike shoes at this time.

The Nike + iPod Sport Kit is not compatible with any of our other Nike watches or monitoring products like your Triax Elite.  Nike+ ready shoes will still work with your Triax Elite just like normal.

Please check out our http://www.nikeplus.com website for updates and more information on Nike+ ready products.

Thank you again for contacting Nike+.

Sincerely,

Matthew
Nike+
