I've had mine since January and haven't had to change the battery
yet, but then again, I have been doing fairly light running due to my
schedule.

Incidentally, after coming back home after 2 weeks away, I decided to
try my HRM strap again before I hauled it up to Peoria on Thursday.
(Peoria is where the repair center is, and I was going to be there
for a meeting anyhow.) Mysteriously, it started up and worked just
fine. Go figure.

I won't bother taking it to the repair center since it's working
flawlessly again, but if it acts up again, I'll send it off to them...
