Subject: [NFSDU] The new season approaches and all is quiet
Don't know what it is, but the Forum is very quiet. Are we all waiting with
baited breath to see what CC has in stall for us or is it we have finally
lost that effervescent enthusiasm that has been evident before each Forest
season for the last 3 years (and then been extremely soured by the results
during that time). Or could it be that, because of the WC we haven't had
time to think about 2006-07?
Whilst the pre season has been very lack lustre I think we all know the
reason for that. With the very large squad we have it will take sometime to
make the right assessment of the players in the squad. I for one have been
pleasantly surprised by the new gaffers approach and am looking forward to
some positive results this season.
Having said that, 2 losses to Mansfield (yes I know there were 19 minutes to
go) and Lincoln are difficult to comprehend, but hey it is pre season and we
are experimenting.
How are others feeling about the new season?
I am getting sick and tired of reading some of the negativity of the
responses to the NEP stories so come on let's get back to that banter that
makes this forum so enjoyable.
Regards
Julian
