Brent,
My cousin came out last year and he kept me informed as to the state of play
at the City (or Shitty as he called it) Ground and his thoughts were pretty
much the same as yours. Here's hoping for a much improved year this time
around.
As for Adeliade United, I attended most games last year but do not have
plans for the coming season due to the price rise and scheduling of games.
Will probably get to a couple. Will keep in touch and let you know which
games I can get to. I must say the atmosphere was fantastic.
I do have an interest in AFL football and have season tickets for both the
Crows and Port home matches.
Keep wearing that shirt!!
Regards
Julian

Thanks for that Julian,I must say last season was
terrible, I saw some of the worst football at the City
ground since I started supporting Forest in 1972 and I
prey for a quick turn around and return to the
Championship.
I was wondering if any of you attend Adelaide United?
Ive been to watch the Crows but its not the same !!!!
If so can anyone pass on any info about them?

Hi Brent,
Firstly, welcome to Adelaide.
There are a few Forest supporters around, including a
couple on the Forum,
but not too many.
Probably the most famous Forest supporter in Adelaide
was Joe McDonald, a
member of the 1959 FA Cup Final Team. Unfortunately he
passed away, nearly 2
years ago.
Here's hoping for a quick turnaround in fortunes for
Forest, and an imminent
return to the Champtionship next season.
Regards
Julian

Ive recently arrived in Adelaide and wondered if there
were any more reds here? Keep wearing my new yellow n
green Forest shirt hoping I might bump into one of
you.

I never thought I'd see the day again when the footy
season would be
starting and England were still in with a chance of
winning the Ashes.
