As some of you may know, I am a high school track and
cross country coach.  Attached is a poem submitted to
a poetry contest written by my star runner.  She was
5th in the state finals in the 800 meters last year,
and at one point had the second fastest time in the
nation run by a junior in high school.  She is
currently being recruited by Southern Cal, Cal
Berkeley, Mississippi State, Iowa State, Nevada Reno,
Sacramento State and about 70 other universities.  As
a favor, I would ask you all to cast a vote for this
remarkable young lady's poem.  I'd really appreciate
it.
