I have gotten a few emails about the meeting Dec 8th. People want know what will be discussed. Well... I dont know what we will talk about but here are a few topics I think may get some time.
#1. Schedules. I think this is a no brainer. If there are a bunch of teams together it is the perfect time to get opponents. I already have the majority of my exhibitions in place, I just need some teams to play against.
#2 This is kind of the wild card topic- a tournament in Boston to celebrate the 150th anniversary of baseball coming to NE. Obviously this is a perfect year to have a high publicized tournament in Boston- #1. like I said it is the 150th anniversary #2. next summer (fathers day weekend and the weekend I was looking at having the tournament) the Baseball Hall of Fame will be opening it "Baseball as America" exhibit at the Museum of Science" (a vintage
tournament would be huge exposure). #3. The Red Sox won the World Series....
I would love to say I will put all of this together, but I can't.I am running three teams and getting married in May. For something like this tournament to happen it would require a lot of effort from several people. I dont know if there is that much interest in making it work...
So in a nutshell I think that is what I expect to talk about on Dec 8th 12pm at the Boston Beer Work. I would welcome other topics as well- I know there are rumors and talks of leagues out there.
Let me know what you think.

Gentlemen,
Unfortunately I'm out of town that weekend and will not be able to attend the meeting on behalf of the Orators. I look forward to hearing what was discussed. The Orators are looking forward to another season. Please keep Bridgeport in mind for any special events and or tournaments this upcoming season.
Hey Brian, Unfortunately, no one from the Dirigo or Red Jacket club will be able to make the meeting. We are interested in hearing the results so please keep us informed. Have a great Thanksgiving and if I don't hear from you soon the have a Merry Christmas and a great New Year Thanks, Mark
