I am using a 1930s, with the web cut. I looked at that one you used but was not sure of the quality of the leather. I have the Akadema fingerless glove for field play and the quality is good.
Safety, durability and looks are essential.
Would recommend what you used?

This is the glove I used at the tournament last weekend http://www.sportsauthority.com/product/index.jsp?productId=1922489&cp=&origkw=Akadema+vintage+baseball&kw=akadema+vintage+baseball&parentPage=search
It looks a lot like the one you would pay double for. I just cut off the "webing" and it worked pretty well. I wore a foam finger (they sell them for like 4 or 5 bucks) for some extra padding and it worked great.
What are you using now?

Fellow Ballists,
Has anyone seen this glove or perhaps use this glove. It looks ideal
for 1880s catching and it is a Nokona so the quality should be good. I
just don't want to spend the money if it is a cheesey product.
Thoughts?
