TWINS UNVEIL VISION FOR NEW BALLPARK

The Minnesota Twins today at the Capitol unveiled
plans for a proposed retractable roof ballpark. The
new ballpark will help ensure the long-term viability
and competitiveness of the franchise while providing
fans throughout the Upper Midwest with the nation's
premier baseball venue.

PAUL MOLITOR GETS IN THE HALL!

Paul Molitor has been voted into Baseball's Hall of
Fame. Molitor collected his 3,000th hit with the
Twins in 1996. He retired after the 1998 season with
3,319 hits and a .306 career average.
