From the New Britain Herald:

"Beau Kemp, who started the year in New Britain, will
fill the empty bullpen slot created when Jesse Crain
was promoted to Triple-A Monday. Kemp was dispatched
to Class A Fort Myers at the beginning of May after he
and roommate Ron Corona were arrested for fighting."

The Miracle press release heralded Beau as "the closer
extraordinaire" and went on to say that he "was solid
for most of his stint with the Miracle in 2003. He was
1-2 with a 3.76 ERA and 11 saves in 22 games. In 26.1
innings pitched he walked seven while striking out 16,
while the opposition hit .275 against him."

Some of the local fans had a different view of him
though and Will, who said that last season Kemp as
"Beau to the savior" changed Kemp's name to "Blows
Kemp" since his return to the Fort Myers Bull Pen.
