In case anyone ever has/had interest in trying the Luxew pads, this is
my report: I had decided to go with a pad for the last ride of the year
since it was HARD packed with rock (rail bed) and I didn't want to
worry. Well, I now have an "official" report from my own experience
with the Luwex pads. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them, or at least the full/mesh
pad I used. Have yet to try the rim pad. The mesh pad kind of "shaped"
itself into the bottom of the hoof, we only used some fill(?) right
under the frog, there was the TINEST layer of dirt/mud, the sole is NOT
soft, and best of all the pad IS beyond all doubt 100% reuseable! WOOT,
what more could one ask for?!?! You feel the "give" in the pad, but it
did not crush even one little bit...very odd. I DID notice a difference
with Tempo's gait on the rock HARD unforgiving footing, he moved out
more comfortably. Worked just like they said it would. I look forward
to trying out the rim pad next spring.
