1. 2004 Season kicks off Feb. 28-29 in Miami Beach
The designs for the Yuengling Big Shot Volleyball Southern Tour t-shirts and poster have been released and can be seen online at www.eevb.net
2. Hotel discount rates will expire shortly. Please note that you can always cancel a room but you cannot get one if they are all full.
For Miami: : Biscaya Hotel (formerly Bayview Hotel) (4000 Alton Rd) 305-532-4411 or bayviewhotel@.... Rates: $69/night up to 4 people, $15 extra for rollaway/night (refrigerator available for $15/night). Rooms must be booked by 2/22/03 to receive discount rate. No cancellations after 2/24. A shuttle bus tot eh tournament site will run Saturday morning if we receive enough requests. Please let me know right away if you will need the shuttle bus.
For Jacksonville: Comfort Inn Oceanfront: 1515 N First St., Jacksonville Beach, 904-241-2311; $99/night, cutoff date for this rate is Feb. 21. Call 800-654-8776 and ask for East End Volleyball rate. Please book early, you can always cancel.
For other sites: EEVB and Expedia are working to bring you the lowest travel packages possible in a program that benefits the players. Expedia is giving a percentage of all sales made through the EEVB/Expedia link http://www.eevb.net/expedia.htm that will be used to cover trips given away in the Flyaway Tournaments. Please use this link for all of your travel plans so that we can continue to give away trips to top EEVB tournaments.

The EEVB web site has been reorganized to make it easier to find info. The site ahs been set up with a menu file in the left frame. Click on the item that you want more info about and it will appear in the right hand frame. Note that this site works best using Microsoft Internet Explorer. You should expand the frame to Full Screen view. You can do this by hitting the F11 key on your keyboard.Please let us know if you find this re-organized web page better and if you have any suggestions about how it can be improved.
5. Tournament info and applications (only available on the web site, there will not be any mailed applications)
Tournament info is available at www.eevb.net in 2 ways.
a. Clicking Calendar will bring up a complete listing of EEVB tournaments and dates. Each date will have a link that will lead you to a full page of information about that site only.
b. Clicking 2004 Southern Tour (Florida-S. Carolina) Application will download the application in a PDF format that can be easily printed on your computer.
