Hope you've had a fabulous holiday season! Just a reminder
that the entry deadline for the Bermuda Open Tournament entry is THIS Friday, January 30th.
Info flyer attached and below. Please let me know asap if you have a
womens team interested so we can save a spot. We have a few solo
players from Canada and the US looking to join up with others, so
we may be able to help if you or a few would like to come

p.s. Participant hotel rates will
be less than $175/night...only a 2 hour flight from NYC and no snow or
ice! Today, it's partly sunny with a high of 68! :)

In
a few months we will be hosting the Bermuda
Open Women's Volleyball Tournament – and we are currently
looking for Adult Women's Volleyball teams interested in participating. In
2007, we had our first and successful event with indoor teams
from the U.S., Canada and Bermuda. In 2009, we'd like you to join us
in continuing the competition!
The
organizing committee is preparing for tournament dates of March 5th - 7th, with
matches on Thursday and Friday evening, as well as all day Saturday. This
will hopefully provide good play and still time to explore and
enjoy the Island.
We
understand that expenses can be quite high when traveling out of country and
that most teams have very limited funding. So in light of this, we are
fundraising and seeking local donations to possibly absorb part of this cost
– at a minimum, we hope to be able to provide hotel accommodation for
tournament days. We will be able to provide additional information in the
upcoming weeks.
We
would appreciate if you could pass on this invitation to individuals
or teams that may be interested. Attached is our information flyer
and feel free to contact us with interest or questions. Get a team
together and join us on the court!
