I have openings for some single players for this weekend’s volleyball tournament at Connecticut College before the AVP Hot Winter Night event.

I need a few single female and males for:
Coed 4s King of the Beach format

Coed 6s

If you want to play please send me your name and phone # and a little bit about your skill level/past VB experience so that I can place you in the right group. Complete info from the earlier event email is at the end of this email.

Thanks.

There are still openings for next weekend’s Coed 6s and Coed 4s King of the Beach tournament at Connecticut College in New London.

Two separate formats, one foe coed 6s full teams. The other for coed 4s but you sign up as a coed pair and are placed with other pairs.

The tournament is 15 minutes away from Mohegan Sun where the AVP Hot Winter Nights will be playing Sat. night.

Play during the day and watch at night. What could be better for a cold winter night.

Complete info below.

We are adding a new event/format to the upcoming tournament Jan 17 at Connecticut College

EEVB will be holding tournaments with a unique format that has been very popular at our LI indoor Tournaments:

Reverse Coed 4s King of the Beach

(Same day as the AVP Hot Winter Nights at Mohegan Sun, 15 minutes away from Conn. College)

  1. Played on a women’s net
  2. Players register as a coed pair.
  3. Coed pairs are matched with other coed pairs in a rotational schedule that lets you play with a4 other pairs during pool play. (The schedule/pool sheet can be viewed online at http://www.eevb.net/Kingofbeachcoed4s.htm)
  4. At the conclusion of pool play the top pairs are grouped into permanent 4-player teams for a single elimination playoff.
  5. Prizes are awarded to the 2 teams (4 pairs) that make it to the playoffs
  6. We are only accepting 8 pairs per session. There has to be an even # of pairs to make this work properly.
  7. Entry fee is $50/pair ($25/player)
  8. Divisions:
    1. Div. 2: For tournament A & B division doubles or league competitive 6s players
    2. Div 1: for AA and open level tournament players
  9. Times: 9 am to 2 pm

SIGN UP EARLY. WE EXPECT THESE TOURNAMENTS TO FILL UP WITH PAIRS BEING TURNED AWAY.

Go to www.eevb.net/reg to register. All pairs must be prepaid to insure everyone shows up. Each net will be capped at 8 pairs per net.

Please let me know if you have any questions about this fun new format.
