The tournament had over 4,000 players and spectators crowding the beach making it the largest beach volleyball tournament on the East Coast

AVPNext/Wilson National 6’s and 4s Beach Volleyball Championships

Saturday September 13 at Cedar Beach, Babylon, NY

This event includes EEVB’s league Championships

Tournament is open to any and all players. Form your own team and sign up online at www.eevb.net/reg

Times: Doubles Check in at 8-8:30 am

            4s & 6s check in 9-9:30 am.

Divisions:

a.    MO, MAA, WO & WAA doubles divisions

b.    Competitive Coed 6s

c.    Recreational Coed 6s

d.    4s, any gender (from 4 males to 4 females)

e.    Divisions with less than 8 teams may be merged with other divisions at tournament director’s discretion.

f.     NO SUNDAY COED PLAY

Eligibility: Open to all players with separate divisions for EEVB league players and non-league players. Winners will all play off at the end of the tournament.

Fees:   Free for all EEVB League Teams

Coed 6s $100

4s: $75

$60 All other divisions

Junior doubles $30/team

Directions: Ocean Pkwy between Robert Moses Causeway and Wantagh Pkwy (Jones Beach). Use Southern State Pkwy to access causeway or Wantagh Pkwy to Ocean Pkwy to beach; $5/day.
From East, take Sunrise Hwy to Robert Moses Causeway. Make right (head west) over drawer bridge on Ocean Parkway towards Jones Beach. Beach is 5 miles from bridge on your left.
From NYC: Long Island Expressway (Rt. 495) east to Northern State east to Meadowbrook Pkwy south towards Jones Beach. Meadowbrook Pkwy changes into the Ocean Parkway and heads east. Go past large water tower in middle of parkway 8 miles to Cedar Beach on your right.
From New Jersey: Verrazano Bridge to Belt Parkway east (Follow to Long Island signs) to Southern State Pkwy. East to Meadowbrook Pkwy south towards Jones Beach. Meadowbrook Pkwy changes into the Ocean Parkway and heads east. Go past large water tower in middle of parkway 8 miles to Cedar Beach on your right.
