Miller Lite League Update

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CITY OF LONG BEACH HAS LIMITED THE # OF COURTS WE CAN USE THIS SPRING TO 35

Make sure your team signs up early for the night that you want to play!!!

1. The first league sign up party will be held Friday April 20 at Minnesota’s

7-9 pm: sign up your team for this summer

• You still need to send in your roster by email. We will not accept hand written rosters this year. League registration procedures and roster can be found at www.eevb.net/LeagueRegister.htm
• We will accept payment at the parties in case you do not want to call in a credit card # or mail in a check
• To register for AVPNext:

1.      To register for your AVPNext membership go to www.avp.com/volleyball_nation/avpnext/membership.jsp and select "click here to join"

2.      At the top of the page select East End Volleyball as your AVPNext local Promoter

3.      Enter credit card info

4.      Enter player info

5.      Press enter

6.      A confirmation email with your AVPNExt membership # for the 2007 season will be sent to you to save on your computer. League players should

2. Single Players

• Enter your info on the EEVB web site bulletin board at http://pub35.bravenet.com/forum/2957690068/
• Captains needing players: go to EEVB bulletin board

3. We need more teams, especially Tuesday at Long Beach and Monday/Thursday at Cedar Beach

• Please let all of your friends know about the leagues. Even if you cannot get them on your team send them to our bulletin board so that they can get involved also.
• We are looking for league sponsors. Contact EEVB if your company would like to reach all of the 2500 players in EEVB’s league program.
• Doubles teams are forming for Wednesday nights at Cedar Beach. This is the perfect place to improve your volleyball skills if you are interested in advancing to tournament level play. The doubles league will have 3 separate divisions. Teams will mix with different levels of players with the schedule be made up by a teams’ record. You will mostly play teams at your level giving you the chance to improve your play.
• Have all of your players and friends send in their email addresses so that we can get them on our update email list.
