EEVB needs your help attracting more players for our summer leagues.We have posted a Flyer for the leagues online at http://www.eevb.net/WebLeagueFlyer.pdf. Please download and hang a copy at your place of business.
This is a good time to get your friends or workers involved in the sport. EEVB leagues have divisions for players of all levels so if your co-workers have been bugging you to get them involved, now is the perfect time. Direct them to our Web Site Bulletin Board (http://pub35.bravenet.com/forum/2957690068/). Have them post a message about which night then want to play and they should end up on a team. Single players can find a team through the EEVB web site bulletin board. There are many players listed there right now looking to join teams. If that does not work we will get them on a team at the first night of play.
Summer Preview:
- Our new online registration system will be online soon. It will let teams fill out all player info online to register your team. Then cal in a credit card or mail a check and your team will be all set to go on the first night. We will announce the new system as soon as it is ready to go.
- There will be 4 nights at Cedar Beach in Babylon, 2 nights at Riverside Blvd in Long Beach and 1 night at Tiana Beach in E Quogue.
- There will be Junior leagues Tuesday and Wednesday at Long Beach and Tuesday at Cedar Beach
- Our Wednesday Night doubles league has already started accepting teams. There are already 21 teams signed up for the multi-level male and female league. Teams that sign up before Feb 28 and pay by May 15 will receive $50 off their entry fee.
- League Championship Tournament will be held at the Beach Hut at Cedar Beach in Babylon. With Live Entertainment nightly, a full bar and restaurant with Lobster Night specials, Cedar beach is now the "Best place to Play Beach Volleyball on LI"
EEVB is sponsoring Dan Freedman at his Long Island Club performances. We will be at some of them in April & May to accept team registrations. You can see Dan's schedule at http://www.myspace.com/dfproject

Click on the video section to see coverage of EEVB's Siesta Key tournament. We will be adding videos all season long at this site. Be sure to join our friends list.
