Program: Junior Beach Volleyball League for boys and girls from 8 to 18 years old. The league will supply coaching in the basic skills and games fro players to practice the skills.
Details:
a. Divisions for players under 16 will play games that do not keep score. The goal of the program is to teach players basic volleyball skills in a non-competitive environment
b. All divisions will have coaches teaching players the basic skills. The first part of the evening will include a coaching session followed by organized games for players to practice their new skills.
c. Players will sign up as individuals and be placed in groups of 8 (two 4-player teams). The 2 teams will be able to borrow from their sister team in case some players are absent any week.
d. Players may be moved during the season as their skills improve.
e. Games will be played on lower nets to allow players to learn spiking and blocking skills as well as serving and defensive skills.
f. Main coaches will have high school and college level coaching experience.

Help Wanted: Additional coaches and parents volunteers are needed to help run the league
East End Volleyball, originated in 1997 on the East End of Long Island, is now the largest beach volleyball program on the East Coast with tournaments for novice to professional level players, leagues for players of all ages from 8 to 65, and clinics run by Pro beach Volleyball star and Olympic Gold medalist Pat Powers. All EEVB events, sanctioned by AVPNext, serve as a feeder system into the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour.
