Hey volleyball enthusiasts!

This Saturday will be our 4th ABQ Volleyfest series grass tournament.
Our July 23rd tournament produced over 100 players, so let's keep up
the excitement! The website (not yet active) www.abqvolleyfest.com
will include photos of past tournaments and info on vb in our
community. We even picked up another sponsor: VINCERE SAND SOCKS -

Saturday, August 6, we will once again have a grass tournament with a
cookout. Thanks for all your donations to offset the cost of the food.

This time, we will be raffling off some THIRD DEGREE volleyball
duffle bags and perhaps a ball. Raffle tickets are $1 each. You may
purchase as many tickets as you want to increase your chances of
winning. Each prize is approximately a $50 value. We will also be
selling sand socks for $20 each. You can wear them in the sand often
and once in a while, on the grass.

Our registration process will be much simpler. EACH player MUST fill
out a form. This will take care of the waiver AND entry form. Filling
it out before the tournament will hopefully eliminate the table wait
and crowd. TEAM ENTRY FEES MUST BE TURNED IN COLLECTIVELY - NO
INDIVIDUAL FEES ACCEPTED.

TIME: Registration at 8:00 AM
WHEN: Saturday, August 6
WHERE: Bataan Park on Lomas just west of Carlisle / next to Walgreens

The divisions are as follows:

JUNIORS (all levels)
14U - 4s
16U - doubles
18U - doubles

ADULTS (must have at least 2 players - can play doubles in any
division)
Mens 3s
Womens 3s
Coed 4s (must have at least 1 woman)

We encourage ALL levels to join and enjoy yourselves. Let's help
unite the volleyball community and have a wonderful time getting to
know each other!
