Hi everyone my name is Ed and I am pleased to announce that the Central New
Jersey Volleyball Club (CNJVBC) will be sponsoring THREE open gyms every week at
the Club at Woodbridge… the fun starts THIS WEEKEND... SO ACT FAST
Please forward this information to anyone and everyone that may be interested in
playing some volleyball in the Central NJ area.
++ Advanced Co-ed 6's Open Gym on Friday nights from 7 to 9pm
++ Intermediate Co-ed 6's Open Gym on Saturday evenings from 4 to 6p
++ Beginner/Recreational Co-ed 6's Clinic/Open Gym on Sunday evenings from 5 to
7p
COST: $15 per open gym (regardless if you're a member of the Club at Woodbridge
or not)
I know this is a little steep but CNJVBC does cap the RSVP at 14 players (i.e.,
2 teams of 7 players). Since the Club at Woodbridge confirmed we can come in
earlier to warm-up/set-up and stay later to take-down… you get two FULL hours of
volleyball + some extra time to warm-up time... this is a great chance for you
to practice and fine tune your volleyball skills…
So if you're interested please send me an e-mail to cnjvbc@gmail

AVP TV offers the Stadium Court Experience to fans everywhere
AVP TV will be streaming the action from Stadium Court in Riverside all weekend long
AVP TV provides live streaming audio and video from AVP’s Stadium Court. It’s the best way to get close to the action without leaving home! Watch all the best beach volleyball action from Center Court, including real-time commentary by the AVP’s emcee extraordinaire, Chris “Geeter” McGee.
“I am very excited to be a part of AVP TV,” said McGee. “It’s a great
way for our core fans to hear the action and be dialed in on center
court from anywhere. It’s also an opportunity for our new fans to get
to know all the players and see the great athletes on the AVP Crocs
Tour. It will change the way people connect with the great sport of
beach volleyball.”
“AVP Radio from last year has graduated to
AVP TV. The hard work of Marc Werschkul, Carly Keese and Chris McGee
pulled off a terrific production for our homebound fans last
tournament,“ said Jason Hodell, CEO. “We continue to seek more ways for
fans to meet a greater set of players and experience more AVP
tournament play from afar.”

intimate trip and you will spend quality time on and off the courts.
We
are staying at the perfectly located Resort Quest Waikiki Beach Hotel
right across the street from the volleyball courts. This hotel is home
to the famous "tiki bar and grill" which we frequent often to watch
perfect sunsets while listening to local live music. They also are known
for their amazing "breakfast on the beach,"included in the package.
Learn to surf, ride in a catamaran or simply enjoy the warmth of the
sun you have been thinking about. Witness the giant waves of the North
Shore, see huge fish snorkeling at Hanuama Bay and hike Diamond Head
Crater--just a few of the things planned for this unforgettable trip.
Pricing

It is a perfect destination to hold another highly anticipated sold out volleyball vacation. This village offers everything for couples, singles and families with an amazing kids club where your children can be entertained all day while you side out and learn from the pros.
Get someone you love the perfect Christmas present or treat yourself to a week of fun in the sun. Escape the cold weather and play and party with the top AVP pro beach volleyball players for organized tournaments, clinics and pro am games. These vacations have been keeping people smiling on amazing beaches for over 15 years.
We are currently offering a savings of $200! We are offering a Yahoo Group loyalty discount and will guarantee you the
$1299 discount for the holidays until January 31st. The discount code
is "VBVthanksyou2009"and you can input that code directly on the www.volleyballvacations.comwebsite as you can book directly on the site under the loyality program. We just returned from our very successful two sold out fall trips in October in Cancun and November in the Turks and Caicos islands. The Turks and Caicos trip featured Gold Medalists Kerri Walsh and Phil Dalhausser where the Olympians were gracious enough to let everyone wear their Gold medals while taking pictures with them.
Have you ever wanted to be coached by the best players in the world while vacationing on a beautiful tropical island? Ever try to hit a ball around the best blockers in the world Phil Dalhausser and Kerri Walsh then have dinner with them and ask them about their Gold Medals? How about having a beer with Casey Jennings and Nick Lucena and ask them about their defensive techniques and how they dig everything. Ask Angela Lewis how fun it is to play on the women's tour and how she trains to get top 5 finishes? Hit nectar sets from AL-B Hannemann and Canyon Ceman while Paige Davis is helping you correct your hitting approach. Video Jason Ring, Anthony Medel and Matt Olson while they pound balls into the sand then ask them how to improve your vertical jump. These are the opportunities you will have to improve your game while joining these pros on the upcoming volleyball vacations trips.
We have 1 pro coach for every 5 volleyball vacationers. It is a ratio that we are very proud of. Come and see what all the hype is about before both trips sell out. The personalized coaching you will receive from these friendly pros does not happen anywhere else on earth. Surround yourself with like minded people from all over the world and meet great friends and create memories that will last a lifetime. Play volleyball all day or party with new friends all night. The choice is up to you at volleyball vacations!
Here is a quick reminder that Olympic Gold Medalist Pat Powers will be
doing on December 20-21 @ The International Sports Center in Cherry
Hill, NJ. Have a great Holiday Season!
Where: International Sports Center (Cherry Hill, NJ)
When: Saturday & Sunday. December 20-21 Saturday 9AM-4PM &
Sunday 9AM-2PM
Ages: Girls & Boys ages 12-18 & Adults
Registration fee: $145
Experience: Novice through advanced. Players are divided up
on three courts one hour into the event. Generally speaking, we have
one court of 12-14 year olds, one court of 15-16 year olds and one court
of advanced girls, boys and adults.
Why is this clinic the best? The "over-correction" teaching method
combined with "Survivor" has the advantage of skill development while
you are playing. These advanced skills are downloaded into the motor
memory through massive repetition while the player is competing in a
non-intimidating environment.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE CLINIC
* Learn how to control the ball and power with one simple move when
passing.
* Learn how to use your peripheral vision to set the hitter and not
the ball.
* Learn a proper arm swing and how not to hit where your shoulders are
facing.
* Learn the three critical things we watch when blocking or playing
defense.
