a day focused on volleyball skills.

LIVINGSTON WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL CLINIC

Saturday October 22, 2005
3 courts
9AM - 4PM (or 'til you drop), court available until 5PM

COST
====
$30 per participant,
$5 for coaches who help work the drills
$5 discount per player for a group of 6 or more
Fees include soda, lunch, munchies, tons of yelling, lots of
volleyball spiking and setting! We will try to get in some video
review - if we can secure the equipment.

TOPICS
======
The day is geared for Women's Recreational, League and Tournament B
players and their coaches. Girls welcome too

Skills and Drills will focus on
. spiking - a.k.a. hitting real hard
. setting - helping the hitter, hit real hard
. individual skills to improve on teamwork
. help the whole team hit the ball real hard!
. serving, passing, communication, team play.
. and anything else the participants may want to try.

Day's format is great for individuals, but if you come as a team, I
will try to give you some time together.

confirm the event is still a go.

NOTES
=====
I strongly recommend the day for both volleyball newbies and the vets
(recreational and B players). I know you will get a perspective of
volleyball that may be new but makes sense. I know by the end of the
day you will see volleyball from a different perspective. This
volleyball comes straight from the US National team (via the 6 degrees
of separation...plus a few more degrees). But really, I believe you
will leave energized and excited about the new dimensions of the sport
we have all come to know and love!!!

In your RSVP - let me know if you have specific areas you'd like me to
incorporate into the day's activities.

CLINICIANS
==========
Members of the Livingston Women's Volleyball Club.

We are confident you will find the day VERY worth your while as we
have 3 courts for work on specific skill sets (spiking, setting,
serving). The day will work very well for those of you who play
tournaments, leagues or just looking to get better. Clinic will be
"capped" at 36 participants, we closed out last year's clinic - so I
strongly suggest you RSVP if you plan to attend.
