This weekend Great American Volleyball will be at Long Branch to
conduct the Memorial Day Open. GAV will be offering divisions for
men and women of all skill levels. As usual all GAV participants
will receive free tournament t-shirts, unlimited Red Bull energy
drinks, water, fruit, cookies, and other give-aways. Also, Great
American Volleyball will be awarding great prizes like Wilson
Volleyballs (New and Classic), Hurricane Harbor water park tickets,
Wearever Chairs, AVP Backpacks, Dr. Pumps, GAV clothing and more to
the top teams in each division. The men's and women's open divisions
will be competing for $500 and $200 respectively. The prize money
will start going up in June!

I want to thank everyone who made it to the Bradley Beach Open last
weekend. I couldn't believe the amount of players that turned out
for the tournament despite the harsh weather conditions. It just
goes to show that you can't stop the die hard volleyball players!

Congratulations to Linda Capizzi and Maureen Milnamow, who defeated
Kristin Jancewicz and Renu Gurnani in a hard fought Women's Open
final and to Jon Rose and Leon Lucas who defeated Jeff Wentworth and
Ihor Akinshyn in the Men's Open final.

Reminder: GAV is off on May 31st while East End Volleyball is in
Atlantic City. Make sure you attend this great annual event and
continue earning valuable Grand Prix points. For more info check out
