My name is Tony Interlandi.  I live in Berlin, CT.  I am planning to start a vintage team in Berlin.  I have been in touch with Chris Moran of the Hartford Senators.  He has been a great help to me.  If anyone would like to share some information on the start-up process, websites, leagues, etc., please e-mail me or post a message in the group.  My plan is to watch some games/practices this spring/summer and recruit players during the winter and spring; practice during the summer and make our season debut sometime in September.  My hope is to make the debut at the Berlin Fair.  The Fair was a popular site for championship games since its inception in 1882.  I have not contacted anyone from the Berlion Lion's Club yet (it runs the fair), but I suspect the suggestion would be acceptable.  If so, maybe we can create a small tourny (4 teams or so) for the Fair.

 

Also, does anyone know of any videos out there on vintage base ball tournaments/games.  For example, an ESPN video or something like that professionally produced.
