Can we get a yes or no from all the teams as to whether or not they will be attending all of these events. If we get that then A. we can try to figure out how teams not attending can play teams close to them or at another time. ex. Essex does not really need to play Lynn at these tournaments and Lynn does not need to play Melrose. Essex would need to play Hartford and New London more than likely... B. we can find a replacements so that everyone plays at least 2 games.Essex and Lynn will attend all three tournaments.Brian

Subject: [nevbbl] the leagueHey guys,
I found myself with a few free minutes before my class tonight so I
wanted to drop everyone a quick email summary of what we came up with
on Sat. The meeting was ok- Im not going to say a lot was
accomplished when half the league was not there, but was nice to sit
around and have a few beers and schedule a few things.
This is what we came up with- three tournaments.
June 3rd in Bristol
July 15th in Waterbury
And either August 18th or 19th in Haverhill, MA
Structure
Each team plays everyone once and the best record wins the bat. If
teams elect to not come to a tournament then they just have to find a
time to play the teams they do not play. Teams like Essex probably
would not have to play Lynn or Melrose at these tournaments so that
may make it easier if teams cant make it.
Schedule… I will be sending out Essex/ Lynn's schedule. I am still
looking for a few round robins so let me know if teams are interested.
I had better get ready for class… More to come soon.
