should send a group from the league.ATTENTION ESSEX BASE BALL
CLUB/BRIAN SHEEHY:





We are looking for teams that would like to play Vintage Base Ball at
our "Field of Dreams" in Central Pennsylvania. Let us know if you
have any dates available that your team would be interest in playing
from April 15-August 26th, 2006 we are in the planning stages of our
Vintage Base Ball Tournaments.



Our facility is located on a 90 acre farm in the foot hills of the
Appalachian Mountains, much like the setting in the movie field of
dreams. The owner has converted a dairy farm into "Doubleday Field
of Dreams". Our turn of the century, regulation "field of dreams" is
located adjacent to our newly renovated 1860's farm house bed and
breakfast where we have 6 guest rooms (modern conveniences-ie. shared
and private baths as well as central air).



We also have various animals (horses,goats, pigs, donkey, rabbits,
chickens, ducks and our famous Labrador retrievers) the horses on the
farm that you can rent for buggy rides or guided trail rides.
Fishermen also take a break from playing ball and fish in our creek
and catch fresh brown trout. Hiking is another way to enjoy the
beautiful scenery.
