Possible continuation down to Incline, up Spooner, down to Carson and probably back to Reno thru Washoe Valley(maybe w/a tail wind)...we won't stop anyone who wants to go back thru Virginia City. The Course-13 mi. classic alpine style climb with 4200ft elevation gain (4700’ to 8900’)

 

Time- First Rider off at 7:30am SHARP (30 sec intervals)

 

Fee- $10 per rider

 

Prizes- $2500 CASH

 

Alamo Sponsored ‘Sub 1 hour Club’- Any rider to break the 60 minute mark will receive an ADDITIONAL $100 Cash and a coveted ‘Sub 1 Club’ T-shirt

 

Reno Area Triathlete Club will be giving ADDITIONAL Cash Prizes to the Top 3 Men and Women Triathletes. (To be eligible for the Triathlete prize purse you must be a registered member of the Reno Area Triathletes by July 1st 2005.)

Directions- From Reno take 395 south to 431 (Mt Rose Hwy) and turn right. Travel approx 3 miles to Thomas Creek intersection and turn right. Registration is in the parking lot of the Galena Market. Race day Registration only. Registration will open at 6:30am. NO WHINERS!
