I have to tell you all about a book a freind of mine,Renee lent me to read. It's called Hope Rising and is written by Kim Mead of Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch in Bend, Oregon. Visit the ranch's site here:
It is one of the best books I have ever read. It has many short stories of rescued horses and rescued children and families.
There is no way i can begin to describe the impact this book has had on me. I dont read much but am glad I have had the chance to read this one. I'm about half way threw now and cant wait to pick it back up again.
