RE: [netballcoaching] Re: Training Sessions

Hi,

Here is just some quikies that l have.

Warm ups
lay 4 cones oriznt under goal ring , lay 7 cones along first line court
evenly , skipping rope in centre circle, have a defender on sec line, and a
ball in ring.
Girls then have to high knee over cones, run to centre cone on line and work
from cone to cone to cone ect pushing off on out side foot. then run to
centre skip a required amount, then try and run around defender to go to
circle to shoot.
This could be a timed event or team event or just indv.

Standing orizant on outside line run to a 45degree angle passing the ball up
the court and back again
wathing for wrong footing or stepping.

Have them in a circle and they play volley ball. Not to catch or drop the
ball. The player that does has to run around the court side ways till there
is only 1 player left.

Ladders
Have them facing each other by 2 feet touching feet looking like a ladder
this is a game for first row to win. The 2 players form the end has to step
over girls legs run touch wall run back over legs then
run to goal ring where there should be 2 balls they have to shoot till they
get it in and run back to ladder for their next row player to do the same
first row completed and sitting down wins.
This is my girls fav.
Hope this has help and you have made sense of it.
