I find that going back to basics that are taught to the young players 12-16
years.
Make training fun
Turn training into a game.
Have a prize for the winner it only has to be small.
Do some of the exericise drills to music.
And if that fails then they really don't want to be there don't you think?
l have some drills, exercises and games if you are interested?
