Too kick of the new season Marconi Netball Club is holding its traditional
pre season carnivale for 10yo's on 21 March 2004. The day is part of Club
Marconi's Sports Carnevale' which has many sports competitions running on
the day.

This is a wonderful opportunity for our little netballers to have a
preseason game with no competition pressure, and for our coaches and
officilas to get into the scheme of things before the season proper
commences. We also encourage the day to be a training day for junior
umpires.

Last years event was very enjoyable and allowed many to rekindle past
friendships and contacts so come along and join us in this annual event

The day offers participants certificates and a free BBQ for participants.

We draw teams from all over Sydney so get in early....teams are only limited
to 20.

Venue is Club Marconi Netball Complex
Prairievale Rd, Bossley Park(S/W Sydney)

If you want to participate in a fun day and have a dress rehersal before the
start of the your season pls contact the Marconi Netball Secretary on 0413
022 197. Pls hurry so we can fit you in and get the draws drafted.

>- nothing beats playing games, both from the players perspective
>(especially if they are kids because it's fun) and also from the

>get them to concentrate on specific skills in the game.

>Or the skill could be something you can take stats on so they can
>attempt to better their score in the next lot of 5mins.
>ie.
>5mins - 1 on 1 defence - attempting to intercept the first ball to
>their player.
>5mins - A well timed straight lead
>5mins - Every passer must have 2 options to pass to.
>5mins - Every oposition pass must have hands up at 3 feet.
>5mins - No two plays can be the same in a row.
>5mins - Anything your team is working on.
