Re: [netballcoaching] Resources

Hi everyone,

Thanks for your comments about the CANCoach products.
The point that Stephen has made below about the print out is that from the 'Planner' the drills don't fill up the whole page. That's because we want you to be able to plan a training sessions an print out multiple drills to a page...SEE ATTACHMENT for a sample print out.

Enjoy you coaching this season everyone. I'm back coaching a team (rather than individuals) after a two year rest and am enjoying it greatly.

Cheers

Gillian

I have actually purchased both sets. Both have all the drills on them. It
really depends on what you want to do and how you want to do it.

With the planner I store all my Girls information and give them schedules of
who we are playing and when. It also allows me to track attendence at
training and games etc. I also put notes down on games played, how each
player played, and how the opposition played which I can go back and look at
next time we play them. The Shortfall of the planner is that you can't print
out an A4 page drill with detailed explanation to take with you to the
court. You can however print phone lists, schedules, and a drill list for
the training session, but you need to already know how to make the drill
work.

With the Activity CD's you can browse through and decide which drills you
wish to use at your training session and print them out on a full A4 page to
take with you to the courts. These have much more detail on the actual drill
than you get if you print it from the Planner. Important when introducing a
new drill.

If that is all you require I would go for the Activity CD's. It sounds like
they would serve your purpose well.

Hope this helped.  :)
