Hi Shaz
This is a common dilemma with all sports. A parent taking the role of
parent/coach, sometimes in the hope that someone more knowledgeable could
come to the rescue.
I would offer my assistance to help her out. She may ask you for ideas and
how to apply these in the form of training drills. You might like to suggest
to her the specifics regarding the drills keeping in mind that she is the
coach. She may see that you know what your doing and may offer the position
to you. Question Is: Are you willing to take this on board?
There are websites that you could visit to get training drills, I recommend
Andrew Dawsons site. Its very easy to read, its picture format, simple
directions for any level of player and it also directs you to other netball
websites that would be of benefit to you.
So good luck, I hope this helps you out.
