Hi all,
The CANCoach Netball Planner can be found at:
http://www.cancoach.com.au/netball/multimedia_planner.htm
And then if you want 150 drills ALL with VIDEO, narration, description, coaching
points and diagrams, that you can also print out, you purchase Essentials 1 & 2
and they add the the Planner.
You can plan training sessions, keep a data base of your players details and
schedule in games and trainings.
Of course you can also print out heaps and heaps of reports for everything.
Check it out on the web site.
I know I sell the product and I wrote Essentials 1 & 2 but I use the Planner
everyday when I'm planning trainings and organising the players in The Netball
ZONE.
For those of you how don't want the Planning tool but just want drills with
VIDEO then all the same drills are available on the Rapid Media Range. Titles
are: Ball Handling, Attacking, Defending. They are simple to use, you just put
the CD in your computer and it starts up automatically and then it's like
multiple choice.
If you would like to speak to me about what would be best for you, just email me
or if you're in Australia then you could call me on 03 9592 1666.
Cheers
Gill

Hi,
Just when you mentioned the blank court do people realise that in the
CANCoach Netball Planner it has all the courts, people, positions, lines,
etc. that youe need to make any diagram of a drill you want to draw. You
just drag and drop the pictures onto the court and save and it's done,
1minute maximum each. This is just one of the many features of the CANCoach
program.
Cheers
Gill

Excellent Ariana! I'd appreciate that... boy is this going to be a bit
more than I originally planned, but it will be great. I know how much I
would have appreciated it when I started.
If anyone is interested, I have a made a blank court picture up, which I
find useful for planning my coaching sessions (I like to do a circuit
around the court as part of the warm up) or it could be used for during
a game to illustrate a concept.
Email me privately and I'll send it on.

Excellent Idea
I will forward anything I think of that would be relevant or ideal for
your
booklet. Even ideas for player handbooks, ie: contact details, emergency
contact names, prefered names injuries, allergies, medical information,
personal goals,Stats copied for game sheets what the palyer would like
to
achieve for the season, individual work progress or individual drills to
work on until next session, etc, a good way of progress, and analysing
players progress etc

Michelle - would you consider distributing whatever you put together via
the net? I would be very happy to mount such resources on the Netball
Resources website (www.ucl.ac.uk/~uczcw11/netball.htm) if you didn't
have a
site of our own.
I think we'd all be very interested in it...
