Attached is a drill for the front cut. This move is especially
hard to defend as you put the defender behind you and can be used in different
ways all over the court. The attacking player has to really push off each move to
be successful with the front cut. I have put a double dodge in this front cut
drill but it can also be done with a single dodge.
Hope this helps

Shuttle run type drills are good as
they can drive straight onto the ball straight , on and angle, you can have
them drive, singe dodge or double dodge. Also you can add a defence, and have
them reoffer for a second pass. See attached
Also teach them how to from cut – let
me know if you would like to have a drill for this.
Have your WA and GA set up back on
their transverse line when the ball is down your defenders end so they have
to drive onto the ball. (also this gives you defenders the chance and space
needed to bring the ball down court.).

Hi,
I am a defensive player who coahes an under 11 team. I have no problems
teaching defence and the whole team are a wonderful defensive team. However I
am having trouble teaching them how to come forwrd and drive onto the ball.
Any suggestions of simple drills or coaching startegies would be greatly
appreciated.
Cheers
Marnie
