Hi Deanne
There is a great coaching manual called A Complete Guide to the Game NETTA. I
have coached Netta's for a few years and the first thing I recommend is teaching
catching and throwing. The correct technique now saves many frustrations later
and for later coaches. After catching and passing I recommend postion training.
While all this is going on positions and rules can be taught.

I coached my girls from nettas and now they are U10's. Just practise throwing the ball (chest passes) to each other and then moving down the side of the court....
