Hi,

I'm just wanting some clarification regarding the start of play following a goal
scored.
My understanding is that the center must step straight into the circle without
delay - caused either by walking around to the rear of the cirlce or waiting
for her other center court players to be behind the transverse lines. I only
have a rule book from 2001 and am not sure if there is another one out since
this edition - but my understanding is that the center cannot wait and must step
straight in - as soon as she steps in the umpire should blow the whistle.

I understand this rule was one of the new ones bought in a few years ago - am I
right? I'd appreciate some clarification from those of you who in the know much
more than me!!
