I also use this drill as a warm up - but call it crashes ! The catchcry is
receive from the right & pass straight ahead. Start off walking, then
increase the speed - it doesn't take long to get the hang of it.
We also go from a large square to a very small one, controlling the ball
with our fingertips & then moving back out to a large square again.
It looks great when everyone is in full flight !
I also use the one with 2 lines of workers & 3 throwers someone described
earlier. My team named it 'confusion' as it took them a but longer to get
the jist of it, but it also looks great when done properly. Make sure the
passes are in front & the footwork is correct.
Both drills are brilliant for timing, which is why we use them for pre-game
warm-ups.
