I love this one!
Teach them to run towards the ball (ie 'come underneath the ball'), jump and
catch. That way they land on both feet and have a choice of which foot will
be the stepping foot. They also have perfect balance then. I always tell
my kids - the ball has no feet, YOU must go to the ball! Once they master
this drill - it just becomes so easy!
The other enjoyable drill is - turn in the air and face the way you want to
pass the ball (land both feet, once again). LIttle ones love this. It is
real basic excercises, but oh so worth it in the long run!
