Hi guyz.

Just wondering if anybody had any ideas i could try out on my team of
13/14 year olds.

They r not breaking forward for the ball. They all want to stand
behind their players and pass the ball over the top of the players. To
many passes are getting intercepted by doing this.

Does anybody ahve any ideas i can try to get them to come forward and
use the space rather then dropping back all the time???

Thanks for any help u can provide me

Breaking forward is probably one of the most important concepts - and one that can be incorporated into a number of drills. I tend to coach senior teams, so...

I found the tip on the Cancoach website (in the latest coaching tips) to be useful. It explains that "coming forward" is actually coming "down and across"....
