Re: [netballcoaching] Setting out a training session

hi tracey
i train 6 teams and use a variation of the following
10 mins on arm and leg warm ups ie windmills leg stretches and side
stretches
then a 10 min
1 lap fast walk lap around netball centre
1 lap sashaying sideways just like in ballet
1 lap jog around netball centre
1 lap run around netball centre
10 min throwing drill
10 min defending attacking drills
20 min matchplay either half court or scratch match
10 min game(depending on age group) and or cooldown session again stretching
also sometimes if you have help taking a couple of players aside each
training session to work on skills such as shootin or defence even rules
benifits all

Subject: [netballcoaching] Setting out a training session

Hi
Can anyone give me some tips on setting out a training session, I know heaps
of drills but putting the session into some sort of order is stumping me, I
want to make it interesting and fun, but I keep going off on different
tangents.

Is there an easy way to plan a training session?

Thanks

Tracey
